WHO IS THIS FOR? This template provides clear, legally-binding contract language for larger business consulting arrangements. This is for a long-term, ongoing relationship between a business consultant or consultancy firm and a corporate or mid-sized business client, i.e. with multiple projects in the pipeline or expected to arise. As such, it was written to be CLEAR, COMPREHENSIVE, and THOROUGHLY PROTECTIVE! If your relationship is expected to be short-term and/or low-dollar value, it is generally recommended to use one of our shorter “simple” agreement templates.

WHAT’S INCLUDED? This comprehensive, 7-page contract template was written from the angle of the business consultant to make the client planning process less anxiety-inducing. It includes thorough terms and protections such as:

1. Framework for limiting the scope of services to only what is specifically agreed-upon.

2. “Master” agreement template (to be signed once) AND a “SOW” / “Statement of Work” template (to be used again and again for multiple, separate projects with the same client).
