A CONTRACT IS...A contract is simply a legally binding document between two or more “parties”. A party can be an individual or a company. In general, small businesses sign contracts as the business entity (not as the individual)!

Customer Agreement, aka Terms of Sale
Service / Coaching / Consulting Agreement (Whether offering or receiving services)
Confidentiality Agreement
Intellectual Property (“IP”) License Agreement
Collaboration / Partnership Agreement
Influencer / Sponsorship Agreement

Key Tips for Small business owners:
Make sure both parties to the agreement SIGN it!
The contract should reflect your ENTIRE understanding of the relationship, responsibilities, & risks of the parties. If it’s missing something, write it in! If the language is confusing or vague, edit it until it’s clear.
